14-day weekday rotation
One week early. One week late.
A straightforward two-week rotation for workplaces that alternate weekday opening and closing shifts.
Build it in ShiftFlowrExact preset
Monday to Friday, weekends off
Anchor the pattern on the Monday your Early week begins. ShiftFlowr then places five Early shifts, two rest days, five Late shifts, and another weekend off.
Check the shift times as well as the week labels. Employers may use “early” and “late” for different hours, so ShiftFlowr keeps those times configurable. Preview the Friday at the end of each working week and the Monday that follows. If both transitions match your published rota, the two-week phase is correct; if not, move the anchor to the Monday when an Early week actually began. Recheck the preview after holidays, shutdowns, or temporary cover arrangements, because those exceptions do not change the underlying fortnight.

Weekly alternating FAQ
- How does ShiftFlowr's Weekly Alternating preset work?
- Week one contains Early shifts Monday to Friday and week two contains Late shifts Monday to Friday. Both weekends are off.
- What if my first week is Lates?
- Choose a cycle anchor two weeks earlier or later so the calendar phase matches your current Early week.
- What if I work Saturdays?
- Use the custom pattern builder; the built-in version keeps both weekends free.
- Can I change the working days?
- The built-in preset uses Monday to Friday. Use the custom pattern builder if your alternating weeks include weekends or different rest days.
Stop checking which week you are on.
Once the anchor is correct, ShiftFlowr carries the fortnight forward.
